About

Mission 'Saving One by One Until There Are None' That phrase captures the essence of the mission of AARF Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. AARF takes in dogs who are in need of a caring transition from a troubled and challenging situation to a life where they are loved and cared for, usually in an adopted 'forever home.' In their new phase of life, they are able to do what they do best: give love and receive it from their humans. These dogs come to AARF from several sources: owner surrenders, shelters which euthanize dogs after a limited time, or abandoned dogs brought to our attention. AARF maintains high standards of care for the dogs taken in. Dogs receive needed medical care, and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. A dog which AARF has taken in, should it not get adopted, is guaranteed to live out its natural life at our ranch, thus the 'sanctuary' aspect of AARF.
