Diane Sotelo, MPA, M.Ed., CEO, Sotelo Synergies, LLC
Diane Sotelo is a dynamic presenter, award-winning leader, and CEO of Sotelo Synergies, LLC, dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to unlock their full potential. With over 30 years of experience in learning and leadership development, Diane is known for her authentic approach and her ability to cultivate thriving teams and drive organizational success.
Diane holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and two degrees in education, which have laid the foundation for her impactful career. She previously served as HR Manager for Employee Leadership & Development at the City of Tucson, where she led innovative programs that enhanced the skills and engagement of over 4,500 employees.
In recognition of her contributions to leadership, Diane was recently awarded the 2023 SHRMGT Leadership Award and the 2024 Ronald L. Kurth Leadership Award. She is a key figure at the Eller Center for Leadership Ethics and facilitates courses in Organizational Behavior and Management at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management.
An alumna of the 2024 'Lead Tucson' program by Greater Tucson Leadership, Diane is committed to fostering personal and professional growth within her community. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her family and volunteers with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Junior Achievement, inspiring the next generation of leaders.
