The Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary (PHS) is a non-profit 501 C3 wildlife education facility located in Scottsdale, AZ. PHS mission is the conservation and preservation of native and non-native reptiles through education, rehabilitation and relocation. We are the largest reptile rescue in the U.S. with 1,500 animals on two and a half acres of property. We were founded in the early 2000s by Dan, Debbie and Russ to provide care for the abandoned or unwanted reptiles here in Phoenix Arizona. PHS also works with law enforcement, federal government and US Wildlife services on animals that have been seized due to illegal activity. We strive for a community in which everyone from every walk of life has an opportunity to discover and appreciate the amazing world of reptiles.
