At New Pathways for Youth, our mission is to transform the lives of young people by providing the support, stability, and skills they need to thrive in their families and communities. Our programs are dedicated to holistic youth development, focusing on both high school graduation and post-secondary education while also preparing our youth for the workforce. Through our career readiness programs, we help them explore educational opportunities and develop critical skills like resume writing, job interview techniques, and participate in internships with partners like DPR Construction.

We believe that education is the great equalizer, bridging the gaps created by inequities such as race or socioeconomic status. Over the past 35 years, we’ve worked with over 7,000 youth, refining our programs to the point where 95% of our participants graduate from high school, and 85% pursue post-secondary education. This achievement significantly contributes to their economic stability. As noted by Education Forward Arizona, “high school graduates earn $8,000 more annually compared to those who don’t finish.”

In the past two years, we have established a scholarship fund, supported by generous partners and donors, which has positively impacted the future of over 42 young people pursuing college degrees or trade school certifications. Our holistic approach not only fosters academic and professional success but also equips our youth with the intellectual, emotional, and personal skills they need to improve their lives and the economic development of their communities.
