Fueling Fundraising Success: Making the Most of AZ Gives Day & Giving Tuesday (Cottonwood)
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM) (MST)
Description

In today’s tight funding environment, every dollar counts — and statewide/national giving days are proven opportunities to capture new donors, re-engage existing supporters, and strengthen year-round fundraising.
This interactive training is designed specifically for Northern Arizona nonprofits and will be held in the Verde Valley. Together, we’ll dive into the tools, strategies, and proven practices that make AZ Gives Day and Giving Tuesday such powerful fundraising platforms — even for organizations with small teams or limited resources.
Participants will:
- Learn from real case studies of rural Arizona organizations that have achieved remarkable fundraising results.
- Understand the cost-saving benefits of leveraging year-round giving features.
- Get a clear overview of both platforms, including key dates, timelines, and best practices.
- Walk away with immediately applicable strategies and messaging tactics to strengthen donor engagement.
We’ll also kick off the session with dedicated networking time to connect with peers across the sector. This is a chance to learn together, share ideas, and build collective energy as we prepare for two of the most important fundraising days of the year.
Whether your nonprofit has participated before or you’re just getting started, this training will provide the insights and tools you need to maximize your success.
