Charitable Gaming: Arizona House Rules and Knowing Your Limits (Virtual)

Wednesday, August 28, 2024 (9:00 AM - 10:30 AM) (MST)

Description

Everywhere you go, there are different rules when it comes to gambling. Arizona is no different. Please join us for an overview of regulated gaming and exceptions to regulated gaming in Arizona (tribal gaming, event wagering & fantasy sports, charitable, social, and amusement gambling, etc.).

  • What's legal and illegal?
  • Who qualifies?
  • What are the specific rules?
  • What should be avoided and how can a charity raise funds for their causes and ensure they are not violating state law?

The Arizona Department of Gaming wants to help. We'll discuss the types of legal and illegal gambling in Arizona, the laws that govern the space and how charitable organizations can stay within the legal limits. We'll also stick around to answer any questions. Come join us and learn the house rules.
