2025 Day of Advocacy

2025 Day of Advocacy

Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (9:30 AM - 11:00 AM) (MST)

Description

AZ Impact for Good is pleased to invite Arizona nonprofit and philanthropy members to attend our annual Day of Advocacy with Arizona legislators at the Arizona State Capitol on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network and learn with other nonprofit and philanthropic attendees, meet with lawmakers, and enjoy breakfast and remarks from legislators. You can also sit in on a House or Senate session and participate in a meet-and-greet with a local elected or administrative professional.

The AZ Impact for Good Advocacy and Public Policy Team encourages attendees to use the Day of Advocacy to build personal relationships with legislators. Registrants will receive legislators' contact information and step-by-step instructions for scheduling meetings with lawmakers in advance. Instead of the team scheduling small-group appointments, attendees can refer to the on-demand "What to Expect for Day of Advocacy" series for preparation.

Registration includes:

  • Breakfast, beverages, and coffee
  • Opportunity to network and learn with your nonprofit and philanthropic colleagues
  • Remarks from legislators
  • Day of Advocacy Toolkit with instructions for contacting your lawmakers and scheduling one-on-one or small-group meetings
  • Tips for effective legislative meetings
  • Informational materials and talking points to bring to legislative meetings

This event is FREE for AZ Impact for Good members. The deadline to register is Friday, February 14.
