Mercy Housing is working to create a more humane world where poverty is alleviated, communities are healthy and all people can develop their full potential. Mercy Housing Southwest serves low-income seniors and individuals with special needs at 13 properties, mainly in Maricopa County with one property in Tucson. Our senior residents come from all walks of life, and most have come to Mercy Housing due to lack of family or social support and/or healthcare issues. We also serve adults who qualify either as having been diagnosed as seriously mentally ill, or with HIV/AIDS or other chronic disease. Our Resident Services Program is offered at our properties to provide implement supportive programs and services to assist residents in achieving their full potential and stabilizing their lives. Services include nutrition education, food demos, physical activities, well-being checks and health care screenings with education and prevention resources, and a variety of community activities.
