Doris Hotz is a seasoned financial executive and licensed CPA in the state of Arizona, bringing over two decades of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector. A graduate of the University of Alabama, she earned her Bachelor of Science from the College of Commerce and Business Administration in 1992, with a major in Accounting.
Throughout her career, Doris has held executive roles, including more than 15 years as Chief Financial Officer for various nonprofit organizations. Her expertise spans financial consulting, strategic planning, and organizational scaling, with a strong emphasis on advisory services. She has served as a fractional CFO for multiple entities, providing critical insights into financial health, operational improvement, and sustainable growth.
Doris is also highly experienced in board governance and leadership, having advised numerous Boards of Directors on governance practices, financial reporting, and strategic direction. She has previously served on nonprofit boards in the healthcare sector, supporting mission-driven organizations through periods of change and growth.
Her work includes leading successful mergers and acquisitions, optimizing internal operations, managing complex regulatory requirements, and securing and overseeing grant funding. Doris is also passionate about mentorship and team development, fostering leadership and collaboration across diverse teams.
