2025 Education & Events Speaker Application

AZ Impact for Good produces educational events (workshops and webinars, among other learning opportunities) in partnership with other organizations and individuals. Some of these partners are nonprofit organizations or community groups, others are companies or consultants who seek to share information about their areas of expertise, products, and services through educational events.

We strive to provide high-quality content delivered by experienced speakers, trainers and content experts that fit into one or more of these 8 tracks:

  • Advocacy
  • Board Governance
  • Executive Training
  • Programs/Volunteers
  • Development/Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and, Accessibility
  • HR/Finance

Our goal is to provide resources to our members and the nonprofit/philanthropic sector no matter what level of experience they may have - beginner, intermediate, or advanced. We give preference to topics that are applicable to audiences from varying organizational sizes and budgets.

We accept submissions throughout the year, however we do have specific times of the year where we request applications for signature events like our conference and summit. We strive to promptly respond to individuals year-round, aiming to communicate within an average of 30 days.

If you would like to submit more than one topic, please complete multiple forms.

We judge these applications based on the following criteria:

  1. Is this proposed topic interesting to the entire nonprofit sector in a significant way?
  2. Is the speaker qualified to lead a training on this topic? (experience, presented before, has solid key takeaways for the audience, etc.)
  3. Does this speaker and topic reflect the values and perspectives of a broad diversity of community members, and particularly those community members who have been historically underrepresented or marginalized?

All speakers must read and consider our Guide on Engaging and Accessible Presentations.

While we may not have the budget to offer honorariums or cover travel expenses for all events, we welcome speakers to share their requested honorarium if applicable. In addition to financial compensation, there are many valuable benefits to partnering with us—such as the opportunity to showcase your expertise to our engaged network, promote your brand and topic, give back to the sector through education, and gain exposure through our social media and marketing channels. We may also be able to offer in-kind services or other collaborative opportunities.

We are committed to being a valuable member of the communities in which we live and operate. Diversity in leadership and representation is an important part of that commitment. We actively seek to include speakers and companies led by individuals from historically underrepresented communities, including but not limited to women, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and those from racially and ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Please use this space to self-identify if you feel comfortable doing so. THIS IS NOT REQUIRED.
