Join us for a monthly Funder Collaboration Convening, a virtual gathering of Arizona's philanthropic leaders and grantmakers. These convenings are designed to for our grantmaking members to foster connection, conversation, and collective action around the pressing issues impacting the nonprofit sector. Together, we will explore trends, share updates on current initiatives, and identify opportunities for collaboration. By aligning our efforts, we can more effectively support the organizations and communities we serve.

Your voice matters—help shape the conversations and priorities driving Arizona’s philanthropic response.

Future Convenings -The above meetings were planned in direct response to the April 2025 Quarterly Grantmaking Convening where members expressed a desire to meet about collaboration opportunities. Feedback from these summer convenings will determine future dates so stay tuned.

Rob Hoshaw

National Council of Nonprofits, Fund Development Manager

Rob joined the National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) in October 2023 as Senior Grant Writer. In this role, he supports the Resource Development team in expanding NCN’s funding opportunities. He believes nonprofits are vital to the fabric of our communities, often uplifting our most vulnerable and disproportionately affected populations. Rob is excited to weave his skills in with NCN’s talented team of professionals and in service to creating a connected and more powerful nonprofit community.

Before finding his way to the nonprofit sector, Rob started out in science, first tagging fish in Minnesota as an intern, and then working as an assistant in both chemistry and agricultural labs. For 13 years prior to joining NCN, he served as the Operations Director for the Long Tom Watershed Council in Eugene, Oregon, and brings wide-ranging nonprofit experience, including grant writing, administration, communication, event planning, and finance. He has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Bachelor of Arts in English from North Dakota State University, and a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon.
