Founded in 2018, the Southern Arizona Network (SAN) is the region’s leading peer network for philanthropic leaders and professionals committed to advancing positive community impact across Southern Arizona. SAN fosters collaboration, shares timely insights, and promotes strategic alignment among grantmakers to address the region’s most pressing challenges and emerging opportunities.
SAN convenes monthly to create a space for meaningful dialogue, peer learning, and the exchange of best practices. Meetings are open to grantmaking board members, trustees, and staff from AZ Impact for Good member organizations, offering a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment for those dedicated to strengthening Southern Arizona’s communities.
By participating in SAN, members gain access to valuable resources, deepen partnerships, and stay informed on trends and initiatives shaping philanthropy and community well-being in the region.
Upcoming Meeting – April 27, 2026We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Grantmaker: Southern Arizona Network meeting on April 27, where we will focus on the Pima Early Education Program (PEEPs). We are honored to welcome Kelly Griffith, Executive Director of the Center for Economic Integrity, and Penelope Jacks, Chair of the Preschool Promise Coalition. Our guest speakers will introduce the PEEPs report and share key insights from the latest findings, followed by an open discussion to explore opportunities for shared learning and future collaboration.
We hope you’ll join us for this energizing conversation as we reflect on what PEEPs can teach us and how the funding community can build on this momentum together.
